It’s hard to think of anything less technical than a post-it: you write on a square of sticky paper and slap it on a physical surface. But 3M just launched a smart iOS app that lets you photograph a bunch of Post-it notes, tap the screen to select the ones you want to keep, then organize them on your iPhone or iPad before exporting them. to applications like PowerPoint.

The Post-it® Plus app takes the momentum out of your collaboration sessions and keeps it running. Just capture your notes, organize them, and share them with everyone. That way your good ideas don’t end at the end of the meeting.

Getting started is easy. Use the app to capture an image of Post-it® Notes from your work session. Arrange, refine, and organize the notes and ideas on your board as you see fit. Then share your organized board with your team and send it to your favorite apps including PowerPoint, Excel, Dropbox, and more.

The app recognizes any size sticky note as long as they’re square (and, indeed, even works with Mac OS Stickies if you’re photographing your desktop). It’s a free download from iTunes.
